There was a time in September where there was a large fair in town and quote-unquote a scheduling error. However this type of scheduling problem happens every couple weeks so go figure. In any event there was about 40 reservations and not one single clean room. At one point a youth soccer team had common with around ten children and when the coach tried to rent the room at around 9 at night he was simply told there are no rooms. They were not redirected anywhere else they were just told basically too bad even though he had a reservation. And what makes it a real kicker is that the staff including management was in a banquet hall having a barbecue Outback so the problem could have easily been solved but they chose not to put the customers first. At any given time current manager Sarah will be seen cursing out customers shrugging her shoulders in I don't care fashion when they express their concerns. I would never recommend staying at this hotel unless you were really really broke and didn't have the money to stay anywhere else. The the proof is in the pudding. Simply look at the cost of a room at the Travelodge if you can get a room for under $50 ANYWHERE this day and age there must be a serious problem with that lodging facility.
I was visiting a relative in CT for over a month and stayed here while I was vacationing and it was the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I've had at a hotel ever. The rooms weren't cleaned to their fullest potential, trash was found under the bed and I found 3 dead bedbugs under my blanket. When I asked for a change of linen I was given the run around for almost a full 48 hours! Even through all of my issues while being here, I made the best of it but the staff is just repulsive. It's hard to even get someone to the front desk when it's time to pay for the room. Most of the employees attitudes were outrageous, not only with me but other customers, especially the general managers. She looked and smelled like she was drinking on the job almost ALL THE TIME and her attitude was the worst of all of her employees. Also I've left this hotel over 3 weeks ago and Sara Beaumont (general manager) is still charging my debit card outrageous amounts she caused my account to go into debt with her unauthorized charges. I've called the cops, I've filed a report against her and the company and sadly the officer told me there's nothing that can be done until our court date. I would not recommend staying here, especially for $80.00 per night. I'd recommend the Ecnolodge literally right down the street. They're clean, the employees are phenomenal and for the price it's a great deal !!
Cleanliness is not a priority for anybody at the Travelodge. As the pictures will show there is a large amount of fruit flies and in around the breakfast area where food is served in the coffee bar that people consume. The back area where the employees are only allowed it's also disgusting I can vouch for this personally as I worked at the front desk for a short time. None of the Suites are available for rent as they're full of mold. Almost every single room has something wrong with it. It is very common for guests to come back and have to be assigned a new room because the first room is already occupied by somebody else or it was in such poor condition it couldn't be rented and it shouldn't have been rented but was rented.
OMG! It’s almost 2 am and have not sleep anything. Theirs several dogs next and around my room that barks for anything. The place have horrible lighting. The staff was nice and helpful. Only staying here because it’s cheap and I miss my flight. Give them one start as I have not been able to sleep and do not know how to work the tv. Seam very complicated and had try several times but not luck. The room seam clean as well as the bed. For sure it’s true that you get what you pay for. If I had been able to sleep I may had give better rating but every time I close my eyes the dogs barked. Maybe have dogs in the first floor or by the end of the hotel and second floor available for people without dogs. Also it looks like they have a new owner as it look like they doing some work in the place. No light outside looks scary. The heat works fine the bathroom looks clean also. But the barking from the dogs every minute it’s very bad
This place is among the most unprofessional I have ever been to. The manager while she is a very nice person is an alcoholic. Why we shouldn't judge anybody it is also very unprofessional to be on the job while under the influence. It's understandable that she doesn't live there and so she is on call 24/7 practically but none the less...
Great place to bed down for the
If I could give negative stars this place would get a minus 10!!!!! This was my second time booking at this hotel. Should have scratched the second booking after arriving the first time to be told my booking was no good and the hotel was completely full!!!!! But I have them a second chance. Absolutely horrible. Untrustworthy people working here. Money was stolen from my purse. When I reported this I was given full contact info of another guest who was seen going thru my purse??? This hotel is very sketchy. I will be sure to avoid this place my next trip to this area
