First time here, and it's a nice experience. Food is good. Drink selection is good. Atmosphere is great. Very clean. Comfortable seating.
Great selection of snacks and foods. Self serve mini-portioned dishes served buffet style. Makes it easy to be bold and try new things especially since some of the dishes are very small portions.
The mac and cheese was brought out while I watched, yet it was very very dry and had virtually no flavor. The taste of the pasta noodle was the dominant flavor. No cheese stringing and virtually no cheese flavor.
Espresso martini with real espresso from the espresso machine, vodka, Kahlua, and Baileys! Three beans floating at the top for good luck and garnish!
Great service and atmosphere.
Sex on the beach: fruity and tasty
Other:
Great bathrooms (clean, decorated, spacious)
Value at normal price depends a lot on how much time you have, and how you value peace, quiet, internet, charge-ports and outlets and “all included snacks and drinks! If you have less than an hour you may find the value quickly diminishing as the pace and atmosphere is more geared to relaxed. If you have over an hour and a half to spare, it is a great value no matter how you pay for it.
Value:
Selection:
Departure/gate screens spread within facility.
On the plus side the lounge is quiet and WiFi is good.
If you visit at Bradley airport, note that there is no alcohol served until after 9am, and as such, it is about half price in the wee morning hours.
The less than great (but for me not enough to take off a star):
I tried the beet sald, the egg salad, the tomato soup, quinoa and roasted carrots, Kale “ceasar salad”, Mexican chocolate pudding, and on and on! And they were all tasty treats. Again each item comes in a tiny portion, but since you can leisurely go back as many times as you want that is more of a plus than a minus!
This relatively new lounge provides good and healthy snacks along with a quite place to spend time. This mages flying out of Bradley a much better experience
Whoever made the decision to serve Chicken Salad with ( undeclared ) walnuts and grapes should be sent to a special place in hell.
Small but well maintained lounge. Food and drink options are plentiful and tasty. Well staffed and centrally located.
Cookies, pastries, fresh brewed coffee. Also, self serve soda (Ginger ale, coke, sprite also diet coke/sprite)
Espresso machine (the type that grinds the beans when you press your order selection)
Value with a coupon (Living social, Groupon, etc.) is top notch 5 stars fantastic, assuming you have at least 30 minutes to spend!
Great staff.
*Thank you Lauren and Andrew, for being great hosts!*
Great bar, sociable staff. They seem willing and eager to experiment with drinks and mixes.
