Limited on food choices but staff is extremely helpful and friendly! Not too much traffic throughout airport, so it stays relatively clean. Small airport so security is a breeze.
The airport security is very slow. We got in line at 5:15AM and did not got out of line until 6:15AM. We missed our 6AM flight. There was a lane that was not even open. We probably could have made our flight if that extra lane was also made available. Security lines here only open at 4:45AM and we heard that even by that time people were lined up. I've flown out of several airports and I have missed flights here TWICE. Twice! I've never missed flights anywhere else. I would prefer to give this airport only one star, but am giving it two because the customer service rep was so helpful in reorganizing our flight plan.
I've never had a problem at Bradley, its a good airport and I enjoy using it, just have to make sure you time it right when driving through Hartford
I flew into this airport instead of Logan Airport from Atlanta because I wanted to go check out all of New England from top to bottom, southwest to northeast. Also, this airport is small, so there's not much traffic flowing throughout the airport. Great airport to fly into if you want to explore anywhere in Connecticut!
This is a MEDIUM sized airport. Those saying small have apparently not used many airports. Otherwise... Lots of improvements going on, but only so much that can be done with the space. Easy to navigate, but missing a lot of the options you'd get in O Hare or JFK or Logan. They are attempting international flights again, and with the added business and money from travelers they will be able to make those upgrades, the process will go down, etc
